Dalmatian assemblage art to benefit charity

This piece is being listed to benefit Save the Dalmatians, a registered non-profit charity.

It was created by first carving a block with a reverse of the image, then applying archival ink (a technique known as block printing, which dates back hundreds of years.) Then color was added to part of the image, which is surrounded by a border of faux gold leaf.

Koi painting.... my latest oil

Here is my latest oil painting in my Windows of Imagination series, which features elements from nature in a modern, contemporary style. The "frame" is actually part of the painting, using a traditional technique called "trompe l'oeil", literally, "trick the eye".

Newest painting for charity!

Here is my newest painting, which will be listed shortly on ArtByUs to benefit charity. This painting is of my cousin's dog, Tucker. itsn'e he a cutie? I had made Tucker a red bandana and heart shaped squeaky toy for Valentine's Day. He fell asleep with his head on the toy after playing for a while, and I just had to paint him that way.
